I started woodworking in my mid 20's with the cheapest tools I could get my hands on. At the time, it was more of a dream then a reality. When I started putting together my first shop, it was in an old shed behind my house with low ceilings, no insulation, little light, and zero heat - winters were bad.... really bad...
At the beginning of 2016 my wife and I purchased a new home. My only requirements for the new home was it needed a space I could do woodworking. That did not happen. So, I built a 20 by 24 pole barn in our new backyard, ran electrical and moved my equipment in. The new shop has insulation, plenty of light and plenty of room for what I build.
Woodworking is not my day job, it is my passion.
